Shiftplaner has successfully completed the migration of all its servers to European hosting providers. With this move, not only are the application, database, and mail servers physically located in Europe, but they are now also managed by European companies. This marks an important step in our commitment to data protection, privacy, and compliance with European regulations, such as GDPR.

Previously, while our servers were physically located in Europe, they were managed by American companies. By switching to European providers, we are strengthening our control over data security and minimising our reliance on non-European entities. This provides our users and volunteers with added confidence that their data is stored and processed securely within the European legal framework.
